John Z. Windsor MA, LCPC

Certified. Compassionate. Nurturing.

As a compassionate and experienced licensed counselor, I'm dedicated to meeting clients where they are and collaborating with them to navigate life's challenges. Together, we'll explore the areas of concern in their lives, empowering them to cultivate their own inner wisdom and resilience.

I recognize that life's challenges, from depression and anxiety to traumas and grief, can be overwhelming. I specialize in supporting teenagers, young adults, and adults as they navigate life's transitions, such as college choices, career decisions, and work-related issues. I also provide guidance for those coping with grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and the understanding and reprocessing of traumas.

My approach is rooted in honoring the dignity of all individuals. I listen attentively, offer non-judgmental support, and compassionately guide clients toward achieving their full potential. We all strive for a fulfilling existence, and often the path lies in embracing the present moment, quieting the mind, and nurturing our inner wisdom. Each individual possesses a rich tapestry of experiences from which to draw strength and much of the therapeutic process involves exploring, recognizing, and embracing ourselves.

Taking the first step toward healing can be daunting. If you're unsure about moving forward, let's take a deep breath and gently inquire within yourself if you're ready. If you are, let's honor the courage it takes to initiate that first step and schedule a free 15-minute consultation.

A transformative experience that solidified my commitment to the mental health field was a cross-country bicycle trip, during which I gained profound insights into the human spirit's resilience and the power of self-discovery.
